By regularly reporting on money raised and spent, we have created a culture of transparency and demonstrated value for money. In developing and maintaining relationships with key partners throughout the life of all projects, we believe in locally-led and community-driven approaches. In taking on projects that motivate and inspire us, we are driven by a passion to fulfill our mission.
About The Founder
When she is not coordinating projects in her home community of Gonder, Axumawit is the Managing Director of HaTech, an ICT Solutions company.
She received her BSc in Electrical Engineering from BahirDar University, has studied at the Graduate School of KULeuven in Leuven, Belgium, and received her Master of Business Administration from the American College of Technology (ACT).
Axum’s passions include the music of the great Aster Awoke, dancing, interior designing, advocating for the rights of women and girls, and giving back to the Gonder community that has given her so much.
